Working on a short film with some extremely talented people. Gonna be posting updates every now and then this is some of the stuff I've done to get a sense of the color scheme and the characters. I've been listening to "just a lil' dude" by Q-Tip :). As you could probably tell the story is about a little kid with a big afro -This is gonna be fun. Stay tuned.

Stay on your toes...

Couple of nights ago, I was with those Sketchy dudes I mentioned a while back : Freddy,Adam, Ollie & Michele -at Adam and Michele's shiny new apartment. And the night inevitably turned into what was probably the best art-jam session I've been a part of.These are the 20 minute drawings that came of it ;From the top : B-ball turtle, Mutated kids from the future, Steampunk dog pilot, Post apocalyptic Viking woman(I basically drew a dude with boobs ha!) ,Crazy Tentacle bitch, Samurai Fish-man & Biker croc. Fun times - It's always good to have people who keep you sharp and are willing to do stuff like this .

I'm done !I had Been meaning to do this for an album for a while ,learned a lot.Hope you didn't get too bored of the Watch the Throne posts and I hope you had as much fun looking at em' as i did making em'. Was originally only going to do the main songs but it felt unfinished and I loved some of the bonus tracks a lot.I can finally get to my other projects without feeling guilty now,so stay tuned. The Joy

I love Curtis Mayfield's voice!Makes me wanna slow dance...I loosely based the couple on my parents . Last song off of the album ...Bonus Track #16 :') appropriately named "the Joy". I must say I had a lot of fun doing this one and for the colors I wanted I referenced my favourite music video "Got Til it's gone" by none other than Janet Jackson and Q-Tip...next I'm gonna put all the Watch The Throne art into a big post, so stay tuned and chill out to this:

H.A.M (bonus) track #14 on Watch The Throne. Probably my least favorite song on the album. So like the previous post I decided to kinda tie it into a memory. i edited my best friend Kat's race to the song cuz the beat is pretty epic. Also, I kinda liked the mask of confidence (*cough*cockiness*cough*) he has before a race even though he may be shitting himself on the inside ,the stress of it all is what makes you excel half the time. Here's to you breaking the sound barrier homie. Enjoy.

The Illest

Onto the bonus tracks- I was gonna do something totally different but whenever I listen to this song track #13 "Illest Motherf*cker Alive" (excuse my french) I remember this day with the homies late this summer. Insanely talented group of people who also happen to be really easy to hang out with,also they can be brutally honest which is a quality people don't often appreciate especially as artists...Left to right, Adam temple , myself, Freddy Carrasco, Oliver Merlo also check out Michele Assarasakorns' blog (she was there in spirit that day lol)!
