Street Style Saturdays

Another thing I'm going to start and may or may not follow through with haha . I find myself looking at style blogs a lot. So I'm gonna try out doing street style Saturdays based on blogs like the sartorialist and Jak & Jil photos .Some of the shots are beautiful and have awesome characters just waiting to be caricatured . Let me know if you know any other good blogs as well !These two are based on two photographs by Jak & Jil.

I was recently asked by a very talented dude named OMEN to help out with imagery for his newest release called "A Glorious Cool" . He wanted a pretty specific mood but was pretty open to interpretations and because I'm really into lighting lately I used it as an opportunity to try some things out . Chemistry

It's always awesome when the life drawings models you're drawing have a lot of chemistry. It makes for natural interesting poses ,but then sometimes you start to feel like you shouldn't even be watching...Unless you're into that.Speaking of chemistry I also did a color study of my sister and her boyfriend looking at the master of lighting-Dice Tsutsumi's work...That guy...

Swim Good

I posted this on the 28th(Frank Ocean's birthday) on my tumblr cuz I wanted something to draw before working and it got passed around quick! People on tumblr love them some Frank. I decided to upload the rough sketch and the inks just for kicks. Enjoy!

I'm gonna Wreck it!

Got a chance to see this tonight. Really fun movie . The video-game cameos were awesome hah.

Jean-Michel Basquiat

I've been drawing a lot more on paper lately , partly because I feel like I can get into it more and really draw what I mean to draw and partly because technology has been kind of failing me recently .I love it all though , the mess ,the pencil shavings,the eraser dust ,all of it. Only problem is getting to a scanner after ... 

I'll update this with some thesis film work and more exciting projects I've been working on !

Outside of being able to bop my head to it I personally can really relate ... Actually got the chance to speak to Cole over the phone which was a crazy experience and have been featured on the Dreamvillain website .Shout out to Adam Roy.

Summer internship

Still alive...Haven't posted in forever, sorry. Spent the second half of my Summer at an internship in L.A it's nearing the end now and just wanted to give a quick shout to al the talented people I met and who shared so much knowledge. Super grateful. Anyway. Enjoy.
