Nature Feels

Several reasons for this one. Insomnia, the fact that I've seen Princess Mononoke 3 times in the past 2 weeks, the fact that I'm getting homesick and miss  my dog and also cuz' I love my blanket( it's a thick blue blanket from Lesotho(South Africa) that people wear like huge heavy capes when it gets cold.The hat and blanket are pretty much what you'd see Basotho farmers wearing. I added some process stuff swell. To be honest I like the initial sketch the most hah. The title is supposed to say "Prince of Procrastination" in Japanese someone please confirm :). Enjoy

Street Style Saturdays

Another thing I'm going to start and may or may not follow through with haha . I find myself looking at style blogs a lot. So I'm gonna try out doing street style Saturdays based on blogs like the sartorialist and Jak & Jil photos .Some of the shots are beautiful and have awesome characters just waiting to be caricatured . Let me know if you know any other good blogs as well !These two are based on two photographs by Jak & Jil.

Chemistry

It's always awesome when the life drawings models you're drawing have a lot of chemistry. It makes for natural interesting poses ,but then sometimes you start to feel like you shouldn't even be watching...Unless you're into that.Speaking of chemistry I also did a color study of my sister and her boyfriend looking at the master of lighting-Dice Tsutsumi's work...That guy...

Swim Good

Jean-Michel Basquiat

I've been drawing a lot more on paper lately , partly because I feel like I can get into it more and really draw what I mean to draw and partly because technology has been kind of failing me recently .I love it all though , the mess ,the pencil shavings,the eraser dust ,all of it. Only problem is getting to a scanner after ... 

I'll update this with some thesis film work and more exciting projects I've been working on !

Summer internship

PYRAMIDS-Frank Ocean

A four page comic I made based on the 10 minute Frank Ocean song called "pyramids" .Mostly for fun. Basically the same sequence but with 2 pretty different scenarios. The first 5 minutes of the song is the first two pages and the the second half/which is darker more eerie is the 3rd and fourth pages. Enjoy
